RegenaGraft™ uses internationally recognised, leading-edge expertise in biomedical engineering and nanotechnology, to develop functional bioprosthetic scaffolds. Utilising proprietary expertise in advanced polymer processing technologies and novel electrospinning techniques. Proof of Concept research conducted at the University of Ulster established that the RegenaGraft ™ scaffolds are capable of supporting human dermal fibroblasts, keratinocytes and mesenchymal stem cells for cellular growth and early stage tissue formation

A potential application for RegenaGraft ™ scaffolds is the fabrication of the leaflets of an aortic heart valve for transcatheter implantation. Not only is this process scalable in terms of mass production, but also has the combined advantages of the existing technologies without any of the problems of the current commercially available HVR platforms
